How tight should i make my snowboard bindings?
I’m not really sure how tight to make my snowboard bindings. i’ve been riding for a few years, but i think i may be tightening them too much because sometimes i can feel the ankle straps digging into the boot mainly where the ratchet its. Any ideas???
I am the manager of PURE Snowboard shop/ www.puresnowboard.com up in VT… Most likely if your tightening your bindings to the point of poor circulation, or pain, it is a result of overcompensating for an over-sized boot. Obviously I don’t know what ur in for boots, but most of your support should come from a solid boot, and the binding should strictly fasten you to the board, and provide some additional leverage and response through the high-back. You should never feel uncomfortable from a binding strap! From what it sounds like you probably get heel-lift too, which is def the boot.
