Brand New Snowboard???
I was wondering what to do to a new snowboard before it can be ridden. Other than waxing, is there anything you need to do? I have heard about de-tuning your front and tail edges, but is that necessary, and if so why is it done.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i never wax new boards they come with wax from the factory. and you want to detune the tip and tail only if it is not already done. some come done, some don’t. the reason for this is that your board will catch easily if you are going straight and thats never good. hope this helps. any other questions you can email me!
