Best Snowboard for a big guy?
Hi, I’m looking to get into snowboarding this coming winter. I’ve been reading about sizes and stuff but I’m hoping someone can give me a personal opinion from thier own expierence. I’m 6ft tall, 320lbs, and wear size 11 1/2 boots. I need to know a recommended length, width, and flex. My weight is the biggest issue! I’d go down to the local shop but, I’d rather buy online. Also, any opinions on bindings? Thank for your help!
If you are just getting into snowboarding you will need an entry level board which will be easy to ride and to learn on. For beginner riders i always recommend going for an All Mountain board which are all arouned boards which can be used for freestyle, freeriding, powder etc. I think you would probably be better off going for a wide or a mid wide board. the length that i would go for if i was you would be around 165. For your weight this is still quite a small board but if you are a begineer its easier to learn on a small board rather than a larger one. Ive listed some boards below which i think will suit you

Both the Decade and the Makinen come in both regular and wide sizes so if you go for one of those be sure to order the right width for you. As far as bindings go just go for an entry level set, if im buying bindings i usually go for Ride ones but to be honest the most impotant thing with bindings is that your boots fit well in them, its worth checking this before you buy.
