Snowboard roof rack questions!!?
I have a 2009 Hyundai Accent and i need to get a snowboard rack on it. I like the ones by thule that hold four snowboard and lock up. I don’t have a factory roof rack on my car and i don’t really want one on there for good. I want one that i can take on and off. I’ve seen people with small cars have them and take them on and off so easily but i don’t get it! I don’t really want to put holes in the roof of my car but i understand that i might have to but if someone could help me find the cheapest way possible, without putting it on my car all the time (don’t need the rack on in the summer). and could send me the links that would be great. Check the Yakima and Thule sites. They both make racks that clip onto the door frame of your car. Takes only a couple minutes to mount and unmount the rack. The Yakima part is called a “Q tower”, I’m not sure what Thule’s version is. A new setup will cost about $300, but you can often find used parts cheap on ebay or craigslist.
