Help With Snowboard Damage.?
Alright this is my problem, My boards edge kind of split open. Its not big but I am wondering if they can repair it at a shop? How much would the total cost be?
If you are talking about where the metal edge meets the board then your board has derailed or delaminated (my mind is blanking on which is the correct term at the moment) and that is not something easily repaired. If your board is less then a year old most companies will take it back and give you a brand new one. However if it is a little older you can take it to a shop and they will fill in the hole but the board will be effected slightly in it’s performance. You would have to monitor the split carefully to make sure it doesn’t get worse.
