Injury, and I don’t know what it is?
About three weeks ago I went snowboarding and comming off the lift the rider in front of me fell and didn’t get out of the way in time, so when I ha to come off I tripped and my body twisted while my leg stayed in one place because of the board.
I went to the doctor and she said there’s no point in taking an x-ray because there’s just liquid inside my knee that came out.
I’m a gymnast and she told me to skip training for the week and I did exactly that , the next week when I went it started hurting again (alot).
It’s my left knee (I’m regular) and it hurts behind the knee, at the top of the fibula and some times in the bottom left dimple under the kneecap. Mostly it hurts when I squat or put any type of pressure on it.
after writing this extended response to you, i somehow pressed a wrong button and got deleted. i’ll convey my message…i went to dr. 4 knee pain. dr. dismissed me. no x/ray. 48 hrs. later? knee caves going downstairs. i grabbed banister. breaks a fall. loud pop. 911 gets me. that pop i heard was the head of my femur snapping in 1/2 from my hip. major surg. still no x/ray 4 knee. growing older, i persist. get my x/ray. NEXT? torn ligament, torn cartilage, necrotic tissue and bone. More surgery. I complained about pain in other knee. I’M irritating the surgeon. he ordered the x/ray. NEXT? kneecap partially deteriated and was scheduled for a knee replacement. MY age? 38. NOW? was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis. AND….i was treated worse than pets. i was told by er dr. that he didn’t believe me. threw a gown at me and was told to change. i was not given pain medicine until 1 image proved of the broken hip. MY POINT? my relentless requests for an answer gave me a diagnosis. i now am being treated with much respect. TAKE CARE!
