i’m planning to go snowboarding, but its raining at my house for days, so will it be raining on the mountain?
So yeah, I really really want to go snowboarding (I live in Vancouver), but I obviously don’t want to snowboard in the rain. So is it quite possible for it to rain on a mountain… I’m not sure because I would think that it would seldom rain because a mountain is at such a high elevation.
its totally possible to rain on a mountain but its always more likely to snow. unless the temperature is cold enough that the precipitation turns to snow than it will rain. sometimes it will be raining at my house but when i get to the mountains, hour away, it will be snowing because of the higher elevation. but definitely go to www.weather.com and check the weather for your mountain. you can even get the ski reports which gives you a deeper description of whats going on up there
