I need snowboarding advice please help?
idk whether to use the old snowboard my dad got from his friend
or just buy a new one in a package with bindings
the old one comes up to my chin. its rossignol and it says wood core. Its 1 ft wide at the ends and 1 inches wide at the middle. I put my knee against it to see how much it could bend. Not that much.
It doesnt have bindings because they broke a long time ago for being used so much, and his shoes are too big for me.
So what do u guys think? buy a new one in a package with bindings? and just buy the shoes?
or buy new bindings and new shoes separately?
also what bindings do i buy? i wear size ten snow boarding boots? how do i know which bindings to buy cause i saw a lot at sports authority, but the dude who runs that section wasnt there and nobody had a clue.

You don’t know if the snowboard from your dad has any pressure/hairline cracks in it. It would probably be safer and easier to work with buying new equipment. You can go on www.craigslist.com to finds some used equipment. Have fun with it.
